The Directors of St Cuthbert’s Roman Catholic Academy Trust are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspiring, and highly motivated Achievement Support Assistant (Level 2 Teaching Assistant) to work as part of the team at St Mary Queen of Martyrs VC Academy.

The successful candidate will work across EYFS/KS1/KS2, providing appropriate support for pupils of all abilities. You will support teaching staff with the children’s social, emotional and academic progress, delivering interventions to enhance pupils learning and provide supervision and care of children at various times of the day.

Through effective teamwork and communication, our catering team provides a high quality food and beverage service to approximately 2,000 students daily. As part of that team, you will be required to assist with food preparation, counter service, operation of the tills, general cleaning duties, stock management and any other requirements requested by the Trust Catering Manager. At all times you will be expected to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and comply with Food Safety and Environmental Health standards.

The ideal candidate must be standards driven, a team player, focused on attention to detail and ideally possess a Basic Food Hygiene certificate (or willing to undertake this qualification).
